Mona Jafarian


is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults, couples, and groups. She received her master’s degree from Rutgers University and has experience providing services to a diverse population of clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Mona aims to help her clients put the past behind them and let go of negative thoughts and feelings through a client-centered approach that she tailors to fit their individual needs. Mona embraces each opportunity she has to help her clients see things more clearly and make healthier choices.

Mona has a wide range of experience working with clients who are struggling with anger management, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, life transitions, relationship issues, and more. Mona also offers workshops and group therapy on occasion.

Joel Lightfoot


is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents ages 12-17, as well as adults and couples. He received his master’s degree from the University of Maryland and has since provided treatment to clients in outpatient clinics, substance-abuse programs, and children in foster care.

Joel uses an eclectic, strengths-based approach involving a dynamic blend of classic talk therapies, hands-on experiential therapies, life-skills development, mindfulness, and spirituality. 

Joel has extensive training in trauma and PTSD, addictions, parenting, and child development. He also served in the US Army for 12 years and is uniquely qualified to helped current and retired armed service members and their families.

Nicole McAnally


is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who enjoys working with children and adults in individual and family settings. She received her master’s degree from the Loyola University Maryland and has experience providing both long-term and short-term/solution-focused treatment.

Nicole uses a person centered approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, and others that are tailored to fit the individual needs of each client.

Nicole has a wide range of experience with clients who suffer from ADHD, attachment disorders, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, grief, chronic illness, and more. Nicole is a straight forward therapist who provides an honest, supportive, and collaborative environment that is free from judgement. Her goal is to help her clients gain the insight and tools needed to aid in their healing.

Katie Bruno


is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with adults and couples. She received her master’s degree from the University of Baltimore. In her career, Katie has worked in a variety of settings including a hospital, a psychiatric day program, and an outpatient mental health clinic.  

Katie has experience working with anger management, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma and abuse, bipolar disorder, relationship struggles, and much more.
 
Katie uses a client-centered, strength-based approach but is also eclectic, as she believes that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to working with unique individuals. She focuses on providing a safe and therapeutic space that allows her clients to explore their inner strengths and propel them towards their self-chosen path.

Erric Hetzer


is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland, and the owner and founder of OIC Counseling Services. He works with a wide range of populations including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. He has worked in the mental health field since 1997 and has an excellent reputation among his patients and colleagues. He is caring, compassionate, and provides high-quality and effective intervention strategies.  

Erric has experience working with emotionally disturbed and abused children, chronically mentally ill adults in residential treatment programs, and more extensively, clients in the outpatient mental health clinic setting. He enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families.

Erric uses a client-centered approach to help his clients find their inner strength and bring life back to living. He has worked with individuals suffering from ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and behavioral issues. He has helped people learn how to manage and reduce their symptoms, improve communication, overcome loss and trauma, and develop family and interpersonal relationships.
Ethan Strauss


is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys working with children, families, and adults. He received his master’s degree from the University of Maryland and has since spent more than 10 years helping clients with a variety of mental health concerns in outpatient clinics.

Ethan has experience working with trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, anger management, family conflict, and more.

Ethan uses an eclectic combination of therapies that allows him to meet his clients where they are at and find the best approach that fits their needs. He strives to help his clients manage their difficulties while also identifying their inner strengths in a safe, non-judgmental and genuine space.

Renee Drehmer


is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who sees individuals and couples ages 18 and up. She received her master’s degree from Towson State University and has worked in the counseling field for over 20 years. Renee has extensive experience working with clients who have a variety of backgrounds and mental health concerns. She has worked in domestic violence/sexual abuse programs, mental health centers, and a hospital.

Renee has worked with clients who are suffering from depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma and abuse, psychotic disorders, relationship struggles, and more.

Renee believes it is important for clients to have a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental place to explore their concerns. Carla Nolan


is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with adults, families, and seniors who have a variety of backgrounds and mental health concerns. She received her master’s degree from Howard University. In her career, Carla has worked with individuals in a range of different settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and the V.A..

Denise Johnson


is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with both children and adults. She received her master’s degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in 2005. Denise has experience providing psychotherapeutic services to individuals in outpatient, residential, and hospital settings.

Denise is committed to providing quality psychotherapy services to every individual she works with. She uses an eclectic and client-centered approach as she believes there is no “one-size-fits-all” method to treatment.
